Profiting
Build an offer that can reward your expertise.
Sales alone do not tell you whether your work is sustainable. Profiting brings together pricing, real demand, delivery costs, and learner value so you can make better decisions about what to build and continue.
What you will work towards
A cost-aware price, a small demand test, and a simple monthly business review.

Section 13
Price Your Offer and Understand Profit
Set a price that accounts for preparation, delivery, materials, fees, and your time. Distinguish revenue—the money customers pay—from profit, what remains after costs. Use those figures to judge whether an offer can support your work and what you may need to adjust.
Put it into practice: Price one offer, list its delivery costs, and calculate what remains from each sale.
Section 14
Test Demand and Improve Your Offer
Check whether people want your offer before spending heavily on it. Speak with potential customers, run a small pilot, and distinguish encouraging comments from a willingness to pay. Use what people buy, ask for, and struggle with to improve the content, price, or delivery.
Put it into practice: Ask five potential customers about the problem your offer addresses, then invite them to a small paid pilot.
Section 15
Build Income You Can Sustain
Make successful work repeatable through a clear delivery process, reusable resources, and relationships with satisfied customers. Review income alongside costs, workload, and learner outcomes. Decide when to refine an offer, provide a useful next step, or stop work that is not sustainable.
Put it into practice: Create a monthly review of revenue, costs, hours worked, and evidence that learners benefited.
